Sun Spots

Created by magnified sunlight, these necklaces adorn the body with representations of sunspot data.

Using data from the Solar Dynamics Observatory, I found these ‘Human-Machine Interface’ Intensitygram (Flat) images of the sun, showing the visible sunspots on these specific days. The dates I have chosen are the days on which I melted the silver scraps into Solar Spheres.
